the root problem-we indians are obsessed with money. Most of us come from middle class,so in the glamorous world many of us try to get into courses which provide higher packages. From this site itself its clear that choice regarding colleges are made after going through the placements statistics. In india, scientists earn less than the call centre crowd. But there are some exceptions who are willing to take different path full of hardships and because of such people only today ISRO launched satellite..

hi,solving questions is like cutting potatoes.everyone can do and anytime mostly 5-6k in india have the capacity to solve the most difficult questions.so to get your seat confirmed your focus should be on the speed.its good that you have realized it early.i think you feel that there is some magic formula or strategy to get the right speed. But it basically depends only on practice..ek saal hai..kuch chahiye hai to jaan laga de..bas speed hi to badhana hai..log to marne ke liye tayyar ho jaa hai..all the best..

yes..most of the institutes conduct aptitude test for architecture.Test is generally simple..B.arch also involves maths in some semesters and i have seen many of my friends flunking those courses. So its better to keep her motivated towards maths..

Its dicey to rely completely on websites for preparation..if i were in your position i would have written my doubts in notebook and let my struggle(bitter or sweet) and experience guide me through(i discover this when i was done with aieee)..its difficult but you will learn a lifelong lesson..all the best !

Like anything else, motion comes in 2 stages..1st stage when somethings gets into motion...2nd stage when something is continuing its journey...destination can be eternal motion or stopping of the object. For time being lets forget last stage..In the 1st stage,we definitely need some force, anything cant just start by itself..then you may argue that you start by urself..we shud take both internal and external forces into consideration..similar to big bang where internal forces lead to mysterious explosion ..I guess 1st stage is clear..Now for its journey,u have to see the motion of the object..if its speed or direction has changed then surely its under spell of some force(quantum/metaphysical physics may be involved if its Kaala Jaadu :))..but if its speed and direction both are same, then its traveling without force(actually here also force can but,but resultant is zero.)

If you are preparing for iit, then go for TMH.Its true that ML khanna has plenty of questions but most of them lack quality.Majority are simply from state entrance exams. But the book can be really useful for aieee...all the best !

hello guys....It seems you all are very matured and i appreciate your valuable posts in this thread. From the statistics which you passionately present and support its clear that you guys would become good statisticians and details of yours posts can be beautifully mentioned in your CVs ,so that companies hire you as an expression of gratitude. But i would like to inform you that there are some gentle souls residing here, untouched by the Green shade, for them engineering is still not a money making business but a passion which surely you guys cannot perceive or feel.As an old member of this forum, I request you to maintain the sanctity and prestige of goiit. There are indeed other channels to have such insightful discussions among like-minded-future-ambanis.I anticipate your forgiveness,if i have erred in replying to you...

In 1960,JEE qualifiers faced the same problem and were confused about the fate of iit bombay.khgpr,delhi.Those were newer institutes in that period.By that time, there were also some well established prestigious institutes like aligarh and banaras universities, having 100 yrs of experience.Still they joined and after 50 yrs, results are before you.Now most of them are either in White House or Harvard. If they had the kind of thinking you are having now,you can imagine where they could have been..what i want to say is HRD guys are not fool.Things will improve,so if you are not getting old iits then go for newer ones..all the best !
